The APLD International Landscape Design Awards Program honors the best in landscape design from around the world. The program brings exceptional talent to the attention of peers, potential clients and the world of design. Entry categories include residential, non-residential, small gardens, planting design, show gardens, specialty projects and cost efficient projects. NEW! This year, the non-residential category has been split into two – projects under $500,000 and projects over $500,000.
APLD has developed an online entry system for this competition. All entrants MUST use this fast, easy way to enter their submissions. The special secure website allows entrants to upload all of their materials and photos themselves, type in their photo descriptions for each image and also allows for online payments of the entry fees. Online entry is available for both the professional and the student competitions.
Award recipients receive featured coverage in The Designer, extensive public relations dissemination and will be honored at the APLD International Design Conference in Orlando, Florida, in November 2014.
Don't forget about the Student Landscape Design Awards Program that recognizes excellent student projects in landscape design. Student winners are highlighted in an issue of The Designer and receive an award at the conference in November 2014. The top student gold winner also receives a $250 scholarship. Make sure your students know about this great opportunity!
