PBI Gordon’s Surge Broadleaf Herbicide for Turf has a Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act section 2 (ee) recommendation for the control of doveweed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
Research at Mississippi State University found Serge delivered 85 percent control of doveweed. A water-based formulation, Surge provides an economical option for late spring, early summer and fall weed control needs, and is highly selective in both warm- and cool-season turfgrasses.
