DAYTON, Ohio – WinWholesale, one of the largest distributors in the United States, has hired two key individuals who will lead supply chain and logistics and talent acquisition, respectively.
James R. (Rick) McCann joined WinWholesale as vice president, supply chain and logistics, Sourcing Services. Matt Newcomer joined WinWholesale as director of talent acquisition and succession planning, effective Thursday, Jan. 29.
“Rick brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of logistics management experience from other industries,” said Jack Johnston, WinWholesale president. “He joins WinWholesale from Excel Inc., a global logistics division of Deutsche Post DHL. During his time as a senior director with Excel and DHL, his responsibilities have included strategic sourcing, procurement and operations excellence.
“Matt has an exceptional background in recruiting, succession planning and employee retention that will benefit WinWholesale. He joins us from Dubois Chemicals, Cincinnati, where he was talent and commercial effectiveness manager. His career includes management of full life-cycle recruitment and talent development.”
There are more than 560 WinWholesale locations across the United States serving the residential and commercial construction and industrial markets with supplies and materials.
