CINCINNATI, Ohio – Finn Corp. President and CEO James Higgins today announced that the company is relocating its Express Blower manufacturing operations to the Fairfield, Ohio factory effective Dec. 1, 2005. Express Blower will continue to provide direct customer support through parts and service as well as marketing and sales from the Eugene, Ore. operation after the consolidation.

As a result of the consolidation, Express Blower will benefit from a greater utilization of the Finn Corp. manufacturing resources. The Fairfield plant designs more than 25 different models of hydroseeders, strawblowers, and bark blowers. The factory has been the base of manufacturing operations for the 70-year-old Finn. Corp. since its move to Fairfield, Ohio in 1986. The facility produces more than 1,000 machines a year, and was most recently expanded in 2000. The consolidation will also allow a more focused strategic investment in research and development, engineering and purchasing, while leveraging the higher volume plant to the benefit of both the Express Blower and the Finn Barck Blower product lines.
Express Blower is a leading manufacturer and distributor of large capacity pneumatic blowing equipment. Invented more than 50 years ago and refined through practical experience and innovation, Express Blower equipment is used in a wide variety of industrial sectors including erosion control, construction, landscaping and agriculture. Express Blower was acquired by Finn Corp. in 2002.
