Ruppert awards employes

Fifteen employees were honored at the company's annual awards.

Laytonsville, MD – Fifteen Ruppert Landscape employees were honored recently as the company presented its annual awards at a spring banquet.

“Presenting these awards gives us the opportunity to thank all of our employees for the contributions they make to our company on a daily basis,” said president Chris Davitt. “These 15 individuals have worked extremely hard and have excelled in their respective positions, overcoming challenges with positive outcomes.”

Achievement Award
This award, one of the company’s two top honors, recognizes the employee who has made a significant contribution in 2011 through outstanding job execution and high-quality results. Shane Carmadella, business development manager, Maryland Landscape Construction branch, has been with Ruppert for nine years and was recognized for his ability to take on challenges with a can-do, no boundaries attitude.

“Shane embodies the Ruppert attitude, including exhibiting tremendous energy, a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges,” said Bob Jones, Vice President and Director of Ruppert’s Landscape Construction Division. Carmadella currently resides in Jessup, MD.

Clyde Vadner Merit Award
This award is the company’s top honor and recognizes the individual who has contributed continuous, consistent, long-term hard work, dedication and job skill that has helped to shape the company. Steve Faber (Branch Manager, Georgia Landscape Management branch), is a 10-year veteran of the Ruppert organization. “Steve is a hard-working and consistent manager who is always looking to improve himself and motivate his team,” said Phil Key, vice president and director of Ruppert’s Landscape Management Division

“He has been a steady influence through the growing years as we’ve reestablished the company in the Atlanta market and has done an excellent job at living and conveying the company’s mission and values in that region and throughout our organization.” Faber currently resides Watkinsville,GA.

 


Impact Award
These awards are given to the employee whose outstanding dedication and contributions have made a positive impact on their individual branch. This year, there were thirteen recipients:

• Christy Schinella (Branch Administrator), a one-year Ruppert employee from New Market, Md. received the honor for the Baltimore Landscape Management branch
• Kevin Kelly (Area Manager), a three-year Ruppert employee from Charlotte, N.C. received the honor for the Charlotte Landscape Management branch
• Donna Nichols (Controller, Ruppert Properties), a three-year Ruppert employee from Myersville, Md. received the honor for the Corporate branch
• Joseph Beretz III (Area Manager), a three-year Ruppert employee from Manassas Park, Va. received the honor for the Forestville Landscape Management branch
• Dan Trocher (Area Manager), a five-year Ruppert employee from Baltimore, Md. received the honor for the Frederick Landscape Management branch
• Will Saxby (Estimator), a one-year Ruppert employee from Alpharetta, Ga. received the honor for the Georgia Landscape Construction branch
• Kurt Myers (Enhancement Field Manager), a five-year Ruppert employee from Loganville, Ga. received the honor for the Georgia Landscape Management branch.
• Jon O’Keefe (Estimator), a two-year Ruppert employee from Columbia, Md received the honor for the Maryland Landscape Construction branch
• Patrick Cunningham (Area Manager), a four-year Ruppert employee from Gaithersburg, Md. received the honor for the Laytonsville Landscape Management branch
• Jesse Huff (Production Manager), a one-year Ruppert employee from Apex, N.C. received the honor for the North Carolina Landscape Construction branch
• Chris Girardi (Business Development Manager), a two-year Ruppert employee from Claymont, Del. received the honor for the Pennsylvania Landscape Management branch
• April Rose (Chief Estimator), a three-year Ruppert employee from Manassas Park, Va. received the honor for the Virginia Landscape Construction branch
• Justin Gibson (Branch Manager), a seven-year Ruppert employee from Haymarket, Va. received the honor for the Virginia Landscape Management branch
