Greenworks unveils AiConic Robotic Lawn Mower, BB361 Battery Backpack Blower

The latest innovations from Greenworks are set to launch in fall 2023 and spring 2024.

Greenworks Commercial debuts its AiConic Robotic Lawn Mower, the first of its kind, featuring RTKVision technology.

Unlike traditional robotic lawn mowers that rely on boundary wires, the AiConic mower leverages RTKVision technology, combining satellite-based navigation with advanced cameras and sensors. This breakthrough technology eliminates the need for boundary wires, making installation and troubleshooting a less stressful experience.

The RTKVision system utilizes a reference antenna that communicates with satellites, ensuring continuous connectivity even in challenging environments like large trees or structures. If the mower loses satellite signal, its vision technology takes over, allowing it to complete mowing with ease. This combination of navigation technologies enables the AiConic mower to access previously inaccessible areas, setting it apart from its competitrs.

Features of the AiConic mower include:

  • Mowing versatility: Capable of mowing up to 2.5 acres of grassland, regardless of grass type, and adjustable cutting heights from ¼ to 4 inches.
  • Systematic mowing: Achieve a striped lawn with rows of precision mowing, a feature enabled by RTK technology.
  • Object avoidance: Equipped with cameras and sensors for object detection, prevent damage to items in the yard.
  • Zone creation: Define separate areas in yards with varying conditions or grass types, allowing the mower to transition between them, even crossing driveways without damage.
  • Silent operation: Mow at night without disturbing neighbors.

The Greenworks app provides complete control over the AiConic mower, including setting virtual boundaries, scheduling mowing times, cutting heights and tracking the unit's location for added security. The fleet management connectivity within the app simplifies the control of multiple AiConic units for landscaping companies.

The AiConic robotic mower offers a solution for both residential and commercial use. Professional landscapers can benefit from labor shortage mitigation and reduced operational costs, making it an efficient and profitable addition to landscaping businesses. This development will make its debut in spring 2024.

Greenworks Commercial is also revealing its BB361 Battery Backpack Blower at the 2023 National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) ELEVATE Conference and Expo.

The BB361 Battery Backpack Blower sets new standards in landscaping innovation, from its power to its low-noise features. At the forefront is its three-speed functionality, offering low, medium and high with a built-in turbo setting. Even on the lowest setting, the BB361 operates at 65 decibels, ensuring compliance with noise regulations in virtually any community. This feature allows landscapers to kickstart their workday earlier, free from the constraints of noise ordinances and supercharge their productivity.

The BB361 blower delivers 36 newtons of blow force. With air speeds soaring to 225 miles per hour and a clearing volume of 755 cubic feet per minute (CFM), the BB361 rivals the performance of 60 to 70 CC gas blowers.

The BB361 features user-friendly cruise control, conveniently located next to the trigger for effortless operation. Notably, it boasts an upgraded IPX 5 weather-resistant rating, an improvement over its predecessor's IPX 4 rating, offering superior protection against inclement weather and moisture.

Weighing 32 pounds with batteries, it aligns with the weight of a full gas tank on competitor gas units and a lightweight 15 pounds without batteries, providing the ideal blend of power and portability.

The backlight on the housing enhances user safety during early morning or low-light work, ensuring that landscapers remain visible to passing vehicles.

The BB361 is slated for release in fall 2023.
