AlignOps BusyBusy has introduced a new Resource Planning functionality within its Operations Module to help give teams a clear, visual representation of projects before the work begins.
This digital format helps users to see what is coming up next, understand which resources are already committed and keep plans up to date as things change. BusyBusy Resource Planning features drag-and-drop adjustments to project and task timelines as schedules change. Viewing projects and tasks in a visual timeline with at-a-glance understanding allows users to spot conflicts early, adjust plans as conditions change and move work into scheduling.
With multiple-project visibility, users can see all projects at once to understand how work overlaps and avoid double scheduling of equipment or personnel. Users can create reusable templates to speed future planning without having to rebuild those tasks each time.
Users can break projects into tasks to plan work in logical steps before execution, allowing them to spot problems before they arise, with the Task Function. Duration Planning allows users to define expected timeframes for projects and individual tasks, keeping all projects aligned with overall timelines. Crew and Equipment Planning is aimed to ensure the equipment and workers are where they are needed for each task.
Digitally based resource planning allows flexible scheduling, ensuring that users can move planned work into scheduling when they are ready to execute. With scheduling status tracking, users can see at-a-glance what work is still planned versus what has been sent to scheduling.
BusyBusy Resource Planning is a functionality within the Operations Module, which also includes Certification Tracking and Equipment Inspections. The Operations Module is an add-on to the basic BusyBusy platform.
