ST. LOUIS – St. Louis landscape architecture firm, SWT Design’s Co, have promoted Carrie Coyne and Klaus-Dieter Rausch to senior associates.
SWT Design has experienced continual growth and development over the past 16 years in environmental design excellence working on projects locally, nationally and internationally. The announcement of the senior associate promotions follows the naming of three new principals in March of this year.

Carrie Coyne, RLA, CLARB, has been with SWT Design since 2001 and has worked in the field of landscape architecture for more than 16 years. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois. Coyne has extensive experience in site design relative to retail developments, recreation facilities, trail facilities and parks. She has worked in all phases of the planning and implementation process; from project conception, initial community involvement, inventory, analysis, concept development and design through construction administration.
Klaus-Dieter Rausch, RLA, has been with SWT Design since 2004 and offers nine years of experience in landscape construction and 14 years of experience in landscape architecture. He received his Masters of Science in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Engineering from Fachhochschule Weihenstephan-Institute for Applied Science in Landscape Architecture in Freising, Germany, with a major in urban design. Rausch’s experience in landscape architecture includes site master planning, planning of urban developments, parks, commercial and institutional site design and residential site design. Rausch is a certified green roof supervisor and installer.
