LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lawn & Landscape, the leading business magazine for landscape contractors and lawn care operators, has named the inductees into its prestigious Leadership Awards class.
The awards, sponsored by Syngenta, are an annual recognition of business owners, educators and others allied to the green industry who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to their field.
“We are grateful for this opportunity to recognize industry frontrunners,” said Stephanie Schwenke, turf market manager at Syngenta. “It is the passion and determination of this year’s recipients that drives the rest of us to continually pursue excellence in every aspect of our work. Syngenta is proud to partner with Lawn & Landscape to honor these industry leaders and their impact on the lawn and landscape profession.”
This year’s winners are:
- Chris Davitt, Ruppert Landscape
- Kristen Fefes, Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado
- Mark Utendorf, Emerald Lawn Care
- Bruce Wilson, ValleyCrest and Bruce Wilson & Co.
Lawn & Landscape launched its Leadership Awards program in 1999, and has inducted nearly 100 people into the prestigious group.
“In the past 15 years, we’ve been very fortunate to tell the stories of 100 of the best and brightest in the landscape industry. We couldn’t put them on without all their hard work and dedication,” said Lawn & Landscape Editor and Associate Publisher Chuck Bowen. “Without them, the green industry would not be what it is today.”
