The emerald ash borer is the “worst forest pest ever” to hit the United States, according to Joe Chamberlin, Valent’s field development manager for the Southeast. The tiny green insects have infested thousands of trees across the country and show no signs of stopping. And as cities reel from the impact, LCOs have an opportunity to help stanch the bleeding.
