Bobcat introduced its new 2300 four-wheel drive utility vehicle recently during an exclusive media-only event in Fargo, N.D. The new vehicle provides contractors the ability to easily get around challenging job sites as well as mow, sweep and move materials through the use of a number of attachments.
Bobcat is targeting the 2300 to the nurseries, buildings and ground maintenance firms, farmers and ranchers and homeowners who must tend to large tracks of land.

The 20 hp 2300’s RapidLink attachment arm can lift up to 500 pounds as high as 2 feet. When not in use, the attachment arm can be removed for traditional 4x4 applications. The vehicle can be equipped with five specially designed attachments, including a bucket, mower, pallet fork, snow blade and whisker push broom. These attachments can be changed and operated via joystick control.

The new 2300 comes equipped with many of the features found on the Bobcat 2200, including the IntelliTrak drive system, which, when needed, automatically sends power to all four wheels to prevent one, two or three wheels from spinning without the fourth.
Other 2300 features include an aluminum frame, a power cargo dump box with an 800-pound bed load capacity and easy access to maintenance areas.
