LOUISVILLE, KY - Sponsored by PLANET, OPEI and PGMS, the GIE+EXPO 2009 took place in Louisville, Ky, last week, with 500 exhibitors showcasing new products and innovations in the 425,700 square-foot Kentucky Exposition Center and the 19-acre outdoor demonstration area to a packed crowd.
In light of beautiful weather, the outdoor demonstration area proved to be a beacon for many attendees, as they took advantage of opportunities to try their hand at the equipment and discussed business with the show's exhibitors.
Inside, booths were packed with industry professionals seeking information from manufacturers and dealers. In addition, a comprehensive list of educational sessions allowed attendees to increase their knowledge of the latest practices and business trends.
The New Products Arena showcased industry announcements, equipment and innovations. The large staging area provided a platform for exhibitors such as Ariens, Cub Cadet, Exmark, Husqvarna, Toro, and more to announce new product launches to press members and attendees. An area next to the stage showcased the new products throughout the show.
The 2009 GIE+EXPO offered a meeting ground for dealers, associations, manufacturers, lawn care professionals and landscape designers to come together in one place and conduct business, educate themselves, and network.
