RIVERSIDE, N.J. – Ambiance Lighting Systems by Sea Gull Lighting Products, reminds the design, architectural and building communities that the deadline for entries into the 2nd Annual Ambiance Design Competition is Oct. 31, 2005. The Ambiance Design Competition is focused on highlighting the innovative and fashion-driven applications created by industry trades people including lighting constultants, designers, contractors, architects and sales personnel using Ambiance Low Voltage Lighting products. All competition winners will be financially rewarded for their unique, forward-thinking, and technically sound lighting concepts, as well as proactively promoted by the company’s national marketing campaign efforts.

Award recipients will receive up to $2,500 cash in prize money and be featured in a variety of trade publications and consumer advertising programs. Competition judges include Linda Longo, editor-in-chief of Home Lighting & Accessories; Lee Waldron, President, Grenald Waldron Associates; and Eric Borden, Vice President, Ambiance Lighting Systems.
The company notes that all of last year’s prizes were awarded to interior lighting designs, as no exterior designs were submitted to the competition. Landscape deisgns using Ambiance Low Voltage Lighting products are welcome in the competition and landscape designers are encouraged to submit their plans by the Oct. 31 deadline.
