A local landscaping company recently went above and beyond to help a North Providence couple that was desperately in need.
Stephen Martino, the general manager and co-owner 855-RILawns, said a few weeks ago, he received a phone call from a woman claiming she needed help with her lawn.
“She flat out told me, 'My husband and I aren’t feeling well, we’re sick, we’ve got multiple health issues and we don’t have any money,'" said Martino. "We came to check out the property, there were maybe six- to seven-foot tall weeds in the garden area, weeds were encroaching the garden beds, it looked like a complete mess and apparently neighbors weren’t happy with the property.”
