Abbott Acquires Sigmanetics

Abbott Enterprises, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Sigmanetics, Inc. – and the manufacturer of fleet management systems sees the new addition as a perfect complement to its current offerings.

Sigmanetics, Concord, Calif., manufactures and supplies a variety of products like voltage converters, speedometers, tachometers and road speed generators. Abbott will manufacture, service and supply these newly acquired products directly from its expanded Pine Bluff, Ark., facility.

“Our product knowledge and experience will assure continued distribution to all current customers,” noted Bob Abbott, the company’s president.
