Advanced Turf Solutions releases podcast

FISHERS, Ind. —Advanced Turf Solutions recently launched a video podcast called Around the Turf Scene, an informative show for turfgrass professionals. The podcast is hosted by Rusty Stachlewitz, seed product manager at Advanced Turf Solutions and singer/songwriter, who interviews industry experts about various green industry topics in each episode. The video podcast is available to watch on Advanced Turf’s website or listen on any podcast streaming service.

Advanced Turf Solutions created Around the Turf Scene to give green industry professionals a way to learn about relevant topics and connect with a community of fellow turfgrass enthusiasts. Keeping with the lighthearted spirit of the show, Stachlewitz begins each episode by performing a song he’s written about the topic of discussion. Conversations with podcast guests focus on their experiences and particular areas of expertise.

Around the Turf Scene listeners can expect each episode to last about half an hour, with shorter bonus episodes available from time to time. There are currently two full-length episodes and one bonus episode available, covering white grub management, Brood X cicadas and bluemuda grass in the transition zone. Guests have included Entomologist Nikki Hendrickson of Advanced Turf Solutions, Dr. Gregg Munshaw of Mountain View Seeds and Brian Winka of Advanced Turf Solutions.
