WASHINGTON, D.C. — One of the industry’s most popular events, The Management Clinic, hosted annually by The American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA), announces a change in schedule. In response to popular demand, The Management Clinic moves to a Wednesday to Saturday schedule beginning February 2005. The Management Clinic represents the green industry’s only professional development event exclusively for owners and managers.
The event’s historic Sunday ending on Superbowl Sunday created a conflict prompting an initial survey. The survey results showed that more than 50 percent of the attendees responding indicated their preference for a Wednesday to Saturday schedule. The Management Clinic Programming Committee, made up of green industry professionals, decided to change the schedule to allow the greatest number of attendees for the educational event.
“The Clinic has had such a significant impact on the growth and competitive strength of all of our businesses, that we wanted to make it accessible to as many green industry owners and managers as possible,” stated Committee co-chair Debi Drescher, Stauffers of Kissel Hill (PA). “The Clinic’s traditional schedule required an entire weekend away from home and business. The new schedule will allow for a greater number of attendees.”
The Management Clinic, providing professional development sessions for growers, retailers, landscape professionals and distribution firms, will be held at the Galt House Hotel and Suites in Louisville, KY on the following dates:
2005: February 2 – 5 (Wednesday-Saturday)
2006: February 1 – 4 (Wednesday-Saturday)
2007: January 31 – February 3 (Wednesday-Saturday)
Complete registration details for the 2005 Clinic will be available in October. For more information or to request a brochure, contact Melissa Strickland 202-789-2900, e-mail meetings@anla.org or visit www.managementclinic.org
