ANLA Vice President to Address Future of Green Industry during Lecture Series

Discussion to take place Oct. 8 at Texas A&M University.

Bob Dolibois will discuss "Keys to Future Success in the Green Industry" on Oct. 8 at the Distinguished Lecture Series on International Floriculture at Texas A&M University in College Station.

The Distinguished Floriculture Lecture Series is sponsored by the Texas A&M horticultural sciences department's Ellison Chair in International Floriculture.

A reception will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Horticulture and Forest Science Building atrium. His address will begin at 3 p.m. in Room 102.

Dolibois has been executive vice president of the American Nursery and Landscape Association since 1991. The group is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing more than 2,300 companies.

He previously was president of the Association Management Group where he served as executive director of two trade associations and a professional society. From 1974-1988, Dolibois was with National Association of Life Underwriters where he managed strategic planning, membership development, chapter relations, technology, agent education and consumer services activities.

Dolibois is a director on the Washington Youth Garden Council, the Friends of the National Arboretum and the Small Business Legislative Council boards. He also served as the 1998-99 chair of the American Society of Association Executives board of directors.

He earned his certified association executive designation in 1979. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
