NORTH AMERICAN POND TOUR OFFERS GREAT PHOTO OPPORTUNITY. Those who feel they may have a penchant for pond photography but have limited pond access, might consider checking out the First Annual Pond Tour North America, scheduled for the weekend of July 9 and 10. More than 50 local and regional pond tours across the United States and Canada will participate in the weekend of water garden tours being coordinated by the North American Water Garden Society.

The tours vary in scale from 10 spectacular water gardens in Washougal, Wash., to more than 200 in suburban Chicago. In some communities, nighttime “Moonlit Pond Tours” are planned. All offer super opportunities to photograph some of the most beautiful ponds and water gardens in the country. See www.nawgs.org for more information on Pond Tour North America.
