Aquascape of St. Charles, Ill., was added to Crain’s 2008 List of Chicago’s Largest Privately Held Companies. With annual sales topping $58 million in 2007, the water features company appeared at No. 316 on the April 2008 list in Crain’s Chicago Business, a regional business newspaper.
The recent addition to Crain’s list is yet another accomplishment for the 17-year old water feature company that appeared four times on the Inc 500 List of Fastest Growing Privately-Held Companies from 1999 to 2002, and earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for its company headquarters in 2006. CEO and Founder Greg Wittstock was named to Fortune Small Business Magazine’s Best Bosses of 2005, and was nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2004.
