Aquascape's Certified Kloubec Koi Supplier Program is available to the company's wholesale customers. The program was created to help contractors and retailers who don’t stock koi, but want to offer koi availability to the consumer. The program is internet-based and offers 20 percent earnings on koi sales.
Aquascape customers can join the program for a small, annual membership fee and will receive a Kloubec Koi Merchandising Kit that includes a full-color banner, acrylic counter displays, and 1000 code cards to distribute to consumers. The consumer uses the coded cards to create an online account where they can view koi at www.koilive.com. Koi can be purchased separately, or as a package. The code is attached to the contractor or retailer who provided the card to the consumer, so commission can be efficiently tracked.
“We’re excited to provide this service to our contractors and retailers,” states Dave Kelly, Vice President of Product Development at Aquascape. “Our customers no longer need to send consumers elsewhere to purchase koi, and will receive a percentage of the sale as well. We chose to work with Kloubec Koi Farm due to their high standards of quality.”
When consumers visit Kloubec’s web site, they’ll see photos of actual koi for purchase, so the koi they order is the actual koi they receive. All koi are boxed in special packaging with an air-filled liner and shipped overnight directly to the consumer’s door.
Retailers can also use Kloubec’s Koi Retailing System Stocking Pack program to stock koi for resale at their garden center. “The retailer can purchase their fish from Kloubec’s and have them shipped directly to their store,” claims Kelly. “This is a great program for retailers looking to stock their Aquascape’s Fish Retailing Systems during the selling season.”
