“Our mission of supplying the finest quality pumps to the water garden market is greatly enhanced working with Aquascape, which has the most progressive vision in the market place,” says Masatsugu Mariyama, general manager and vice president of Tsurumi America. “Quality products plus quality vision equals a win-win situation for contactors and end users alike.”
Aquascape will carry four pump models from Tsurumi’s pump series: the 2PU, 3PN, 4PN, and 8 PN. All four pumps will come with a two-year warranty. The PN series has been identified by Tsurumi’s engineers as the best suited pump in Tsurumi’s water gardening lineup because the PN series pumps pairs up best with the head heights typically found in water garden applications.
“This relationship definitely gives our customers more options when it comes to selecting a pump for a water feature,” says Dave Kelly, vice president of product development for Aquascape. “The design of the PN series works very well in water feature applications, creating less wear and tear on the pump, ultimately leading to a longer pump life, which is key.”
Aquascape’s Master Distributorship will take effect in January 2007, and Aquascape is planning to offer Tsurumi pumps as an option in their pond kits.
“We are excited to be renewing our relationship with Tsurumi because of the quality of their pumps," says Aquascape President and CEO Greg Wittstock. “The combination of Tsurumi, which is known for extremely high quality levels, and Aquascape, known for best-in-class fulfillment, will provide huge value to the industry as a whole.”
