Aquascape was awarded “Best in Show – Best Introduction of a New Product” at the Western Trade Show on Jan. 4. The company featured their new RainXchange System by demonstrating how the system captures, filters and allows for the reuse of rainwater run-off.
Judging criteria included effective presentation of the company image, coordinating literature, personnel in the booth and overall visual appeal.
Aquascape installed a prototype rainwater harvesting system in Georgia in April 2008 with a team of Certified Aquascape Contractors. Additional RainXchange Systems were installed and tested, including a rainwater harvesting feature at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Show, before the product was officially launched in November 2008.
“Aquascape has always been committed to the environment as evidenced by our ecosystem pond philosophy,” says Ed Beaulieu, chief sustainability officer for Aquascape. “Our new RainXchange System takes that commitment to the next level and we’re honored to receive this prestigious award from the Western Trade Show.”
