Attention, children of turf management professionals: The first-ever Aquatrols Scholarship Essay Contest could be your gateway to future education.
An irrigation manufacturer in the green industry, Aquatrols is instituting the essay contest in an effort to help kids of industry professionals who are seeking university-level training. Any college-age students with plans to enroll in an accredited college or university during the 2004-05 academic year are invited to submit entries for the contest.
Entrants will compete for scholarships of varying amounts, with a total of $4,000 in scholarship money to be awarded. Full instructions, rules and eligibility requirements will be posted on the Aquatrols Web site by Sept. 15.
