The East Bay Business Times presented Arborwell, Castro Valley, Calif. With the award of being one the 50 fastest growing private companies in the East Bay in 2004. The prestigious award is given to the 50 fastest growing private companies based on revenue and employee growth. This is the second consecutive year Arborwell has received this award, which ranks companies based on revenue growth over a three-year period.
Arborwell ranked 22 out of 50 companies in 2004 experiencing an 84-percent increase in revenue since 2002 and increasing its number of employees from 14 to 35 in during that same period.

Arborwell's success and growth can be attributed to its vision of providing a comprehensive set of professional tree management services to the commercial real estate market and addressing the tree and plant health care needs of their residential customers.

The award was presented to Arborwell's Vice President of Business Development Neil Woolner and Office Manager Susan Earl at the East Bay Business Times banquet ceremony held at the Black Hawk Museum in Danville, Calif.
Arborwell operates from three locations in San Mateo, Sacramento, and Castro Valley. Clients include property management companies, corporate and educational campuses, landscape and general contractors, municipalities, government agencies and residential. Among other services, Arborwell provides tree relocation and transplanting, specification pruning, plant health care, tree and stump removal, tree inventories, tree appraisals, hazard assessments, and budgetary management plans and 24-hour emergency service.
