Arnco Launches Ecological Program

The ‘One Tote, One Tree’ program follows the introduction of the company's ecofil flatproofing material.

Arnco - a supplier of polyurethane fill for off-road vehicles - announced a partnership with American Forests in creating its green program “One Tote, One Tree.” This follows the introduction of its new ecofil (eek-o-fill) flatproofing material that consumes 50 percent less petrochemicals by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process.

The announcement was made by Company President Larry Carapellotti, who said Arnco has committed to planting one tree for each Arnco product that is sold.  “Through this partnership,” he added, “Arnco will plant a minimum of 15,000 new trees annually and will donate to the research that is paramount to understanding the sustainability of our environment.”

The ecofil material is as effective in performance as any existing polyurethane fill and also offers equipment operators cost-saving advantages. It is a major breakthrough in technology and dramatically illustrates Arnco’s commitment to a greener planet.
