MIDDLESEX, N.C. —
Aspen Investments, a holding company that supports
the erosion control, site work materials, golf, lawn care, landscape, nursery
and greenhouse markets, is announcing the rebranding of its two recent
acquisitions, Great Lakes Turf and Hodges Rash Company.
In this new branding
effort, Great Lakes Turf will now operate under the name
GLT Outdoors, and Hodges Rash Company will change its name to HRC
Outdoors.
Headquartered near
Pittsburgh, HRC Outdoors has been providing quality products to turf managers
for more than 25 years, with a focus on Pennsylvania, Western New York and West
Virginia. GLT Outdoors is a prominent distributor of professional turfgrass
solutions, serving the upper Midwest, specifically Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana,
Ohio and Michigan.
“This next step of
rebranding these great companies is a part of a much larger effort,” said Keith
Montgomery, chief business development officer for Aspen Investments. “We’re
working to combine the relationships and timely fulfillment of a regional
company with the resources of a national operation. We are also continually
looking at acquisition candidates and talent both outside and inside these
territories as we continue our opportunistic approach to business growth, both
short and long term.”
As previously announced,
these two companies are moving their operations into new, much larger
warehouses. They are also in the process of expanding their distribution
footprint into other customer segments, including the lawn and landscape industry.
This rebranding process
includes new logos for each of the companies, as well as branding updates to
their respective websites.
“Customers can expect the
same excellent service from these companies, but they can also look forward to
new advancements in our operations and product offerings that will serve them
even better in the years to come,” Montgomery added.
