Aspire, Herring Group to co-host 2 webinars

On Aug. 25 and Sept. 3, Aspire and The Herring Group will be co-hosting webinars together with a focus on forecasting as COVID-19 has created several new normals in the landscaping industry.

Kevin Kehoe and Greg Herring will be hosting hosting the events.

The first webinar is titled “Gathering Data to Create a Better Future (and Better Forecasts)” and will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, beginning at 11 a.m. CT.

Kehoe and Herring will walk attendees through how forecasting can benefit their business for years to come. Other topics covered in the webinar will include:

• What measures are important to producing forecasts
• How to calculate them using Aspire or in Excel
• How industry faints utilize short-term and long-term financial forecasting

The Thursday, Sept. 3, webinar is titled “Case Study: Creating a Model for Short-term and Long-term Forecasts. It too will begin at 11 a.m. CT.

Kehoe and Herring will demonstrate a model that they use to develop forecasts. This moedel relies on some of the mesures from the first webinar as well as other reports. Attendees will learn:

• How to develop short-term forecasts
• How to develop long-term forecasts
• What measures and reports are needed to build forecasts
  

Both webinars will be recorded and available in case participants miss the live event.
