KANSAS CITY -- Mo. PBI/Gordon recently announced that their botanical insecticide, Azatrol EC Insecticide, has been certified by the Organic Material Review Institute (OMRI).
OMRI is a non-profit organization that reviews the suitability of substances for use in organic production, processing and handling.
Azatrol is specifically formulated for the control of insect pests and mites on shrubs, trees, flowers, ornamental fruit and nut trees and turf. The active ingredient in Atrazol is azadirachtin - a complex molecule with multiple modes of activity including anti-feedant, growth regulation, ovipositioning deterrent and repellent action.
