Ball Horticultural Company announced that Darwin Perennials will be the perennial brand name used within the North American horticulture trade. Products with this brand include the bareroot and liner varieties, which previously were available from Darwin Plants, as well as Ball proprietary seed and vegetative varieties.
The company's first catalog from Darwin Perennials will be available in June. It will feature a complete product listing for 2010.
“We are looking forward to enhancing our perennial line,” Product Marketing Manager Jessie Atchison says. “Darwin Perennials carries through the innovation and exploration implied by the Darwin name while also telling our customers exactly what this brand represents.”
Ball Horticultural Company acquired Darwin Plants in November 2007.
