Bartlett Tree Experts acquires Britton Tree Services in St. Helena

Bartlett Tree Experts has expanded in the Napa Valley with the acquisition of Britton Tree Services in St. Helena. 

With the acquisition, Bartlett has opened a new office in the heart of the Napa Valley, extending scientific tree care services to more client properties in Napa and Sonoma counties and surrounding regions. 

“We see tremendous potential in growing our business in new and existing markets through strategic acquisitions and organic growth," says Jim Ingram, president and chief operating officer of Bartlett Tree Experts. "Property owners in Sonoma and Napa County can now benefit from Bartlett’s global resources and industry-leading tree and shrub diagnostic and research capabilities, combined with the talented arborist team from Britton Tree.” 

Founded by John C. Britton in 1976, Britton Tree has provided tree and shrub care services in Northern California for nearly 50 years. Owner Joseph Borden, a board-certified master arborist, has joined Bartlett as an arborist representative, along with his team of four arborist crew members and an administrative coordinator.

With its new Napa Valley office officially opened in May, the new office location adds to Bartlett’s growing presence in Northern California, which includes locations in Palo Alto, Pleasant Hill, San Francisco, San Jose and Sonoma. Bartlett ranks No. 7 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list.
