Bartlett Tree Experts acquires Logan Tree Experts in Ontario

Bartlett Tree Experts has expanded in the Kawartha region of Ontario with the acquisition of Logan Tree Experts. 

With the acquisition, Bartlett has opened a new Kawartha office, extending scientific tree care services to more client properties in the Kawartha area.

"This acquisition is an excellent complement for our operations in Ontario, providing a full range of industry-leading scientific tree and shrub care solutions for our customers to maintain healthy, beautiful landscapes.” 

Matt and Tracy Logan founded Logan Tree Experts in 2007. Matt Logan has joined Bartlett as a training professional for Bartlett arborist teams in Ontario, along with his team of five production arborists. 

Noah Violini, Bartlett’s Vice President of operations in Canada, says the acquisition provides Bartlett with the opportunity to expand their scientific tree care solutions in the area, while providing a wider range of services to clients. 

“Logan Tree Experts have operated a fantastic operation in the Kawarthas offering the highest level of quality since the day they started," Violini says. "Matt and Tracy Logan have been great industry friends with many of our people here at Bartlett for many years and are excited to be able to offer career paths to their people that are available within Bartlett. Also, Logan Tree can now expand the Plant Health Care (PHC) services offered to clients backed by Bartlett's scientific approach and the plant diagnostic and research support of the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories.” 

This is the second acquisition for Bartlett Tree Experts in Ontario since last year, when the company expanded in the Ottawa region with the acquisition of Campbell Tree Experts. Bartlett operates 15 offices in Canada, including seven local offices in Ontario. The company ranks No. 7 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list.
