Bayer Lawn Care Institute is partnering with the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) to present a communications training session during the Green Industry and Equipment Expo, in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, Oct. 25. The communications workshop will provide green industry professionals with the tools and training necessary to effectively communicate messages that will benefit the green industry, including pesticide regulation.
Pesticide regulation is a debate that is taking place on the local level, and Bayer and PLANET want to ensure that green industry members are fully prepared to thoughtfully engage in these conversations.
In this workshop, participants will:
-Learn practical tips to use when speaking to a variety of audiences;
-Practice developing messages;
-Walk through the process of developing clear, concise messages;
-Learn quick, effective tips to improve their bottom line through public relations activities;
-Participate in on-camera training.
The Bayer Lawn Care Institute and PLANET are committed to providing green industry professionals with the tools and training necessary to better run their business and support the industry. A second communications training session is being planned for early December in New England.
