KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bayer Corporation Garden & Professional Care recently awarded scholarships to 17 university students pursuing turf-related degrees at 15 different universities. Those students selected for the Bayer Undergraduate Scholarship have demonstrated superior academic and leadership skills, according to the company.
Bayer said in a news release that it is committed to supporting the students who will shape the future of the turf and ornamental industry.
"The professionalism required of today’s turf and ornamental professionals make a solid educational background more crucial than ever before. Bayer GPC wants to support that in every way," said Neil Cleveland, turf and ornamental market manager. "The students selected for the Bayer scholarships have proven an early commitment to the industry."
The scholarship recipients are:
