KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Bayer Corporation launched its new web site devoted exclusively to professional service providers at www.BayerProCentral.com today, Feb. 1, 2001. Web users can now visit the site for tailored information on Bayer products, programs and resources based on their needs. For lawn care operators (LCOs), the new site address replaces Bayer’s previous www.protect-your-turf.com address, which now points directly to the new domain name.
The web site was created to reduce the number of Bayer web addresses and to give users one access point for all Bayer information. "BayerProCentral.com is the only address turf managers need to access Bayer information on the Internet," said Renee Holmes, communications manager, Bayer Corporation. "Updated information will help them make informed decisions regarding their customized Bayer programs."
LCOs can enroll in the free Bayer Accolades rewards program, view their point totals and view and redeem rewards they are eligible to receive. In addition, BayerProCentral.com serves as the center of operations for the MERIT Guarantee for Grub Control Program. LCOs can enroll for this program through the site.
The new web site also serves as an online library for Bayer product information, including labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Bayer is also in the process of developing more features for the site, including Ask the Expert, a Marketing Center and a Business Center.
"BayerProCentral.com will serve as a 24-hour link between Bayer and the customers we serve," Holmes said.
