MONTVALE, N.J. – Robert Williamson of Moyer Home Services in Souderton, Pa., was the big winner at the Bayer Environmental Science booth during the Green Industry Expo in Charlotte, N.C. in November. His name was selected randomly from those who purchased Bayer products at the booth. Williamson won two tickets to the Bristol Motor Speedway NASCAR Race in April 2005. His package includes travel and lodging costs, tickets to the Saturday and Sunday races, trackside hospitality and tours.

In addition, Bayer randomly selected 10 names from 252 entries for the Accolades prize giveaway at the GIE show. The prizes, the same as those available through the Bayer Accolades program, were on display at the Bayer booth during the show and included goodies such as a laptop, Richard Petty driving school and a two-way radio.

Introduced in 2000, the Bayer Accolades program allows users to earn points toward rewards by purchasing products, operating on the same concept as frequent flyer miles.  The program was initially introduced to give customers an added incentive to purchase Bayer products. Recently, the list of rewards has been updated in response to customer’s requests for products that they or their staff can use to enhance their services.

“We’ve had a great response to our Accolades program,” says Jeff Weld, programs manager, Bayer Environmental Science. “We saw the GIE show as a great way to showcase the variety of prizes that we offer our customers, as well as reward attendees with a chance to win one of them.”

Accolades members earn points with every Bayer product purchased, which can be redeemed for hundreds of gifts or products from the rewards catalog. The more points you accumulate, the bigger the reward possibilities. Visit www.bayerprocentral.com for more information.
