Benches are Focal Point of Project EverGreen Fundraiser at GIE+EXPO

Benches should reflect how participating companies enhance green spaces.

The focal point of Project EverGreen's artistic fundraiser at this year's GIE+EXPO will be BENCHES ArtWork. The national non-profit’s annual ArtWork exhibition (Shovels in 2006 and Wheelbarrows in 2007) has become a must-see display in the main hall of GIE+EXPO. Project EverGreen’s goal is to have 20 benches and participating companies at this popular showcase.

With a $1,000 donation, sponsors receive a mini-bench from Project EverGreen, which the company may paint, sculpt and otherwise adorn in any way it sees fit to reflect the company and how it enhances green spaces. The benches fold in half for easy shipping.

“Project EverGreen exists to promote the green industry, and when companies support the ArtWork exhibition, they ensure that we’ll be able to continue spreading the good word,” says Den Gardner, executive director. “Whether you’re already a supporter of Project EverGreen or just considering sponsoring a bench, this is your chance to get involved and make a difference.”

Companies ready to take the field and sponsor a bench should contact:
