Briggs & Stratton Hosts "Big Block" Party

MILWAUKEE - Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power recently hosted a Big Block backyard party in Sheldon, Iowa for Jeff Van Meeteren, who operates Jeff’s Lawn Care.

At the 2003 Green Industry Expo, Van Meeteren registered for the Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power-hosted Big Block party for 25-35 of his friends, colleagues, customers and/or neighbors. To celebrate the launch of the Vanguard V-Twin Big Block Air-Cooled and Liquid-Cooled engines in the 25-35 HP range, Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power gave away the Big Block party.

The party included complimentary food and prizes including Commercial Power merchandise and a Briggs & Stratton Power Products pressure washer.

“We were excited to host our Big Block party in Sheldon,” says Doug Page, director of commercial marketing. “This is an important event in helping us create excitement for the new Vanguard Big Block line.”

According to Van Meeteren, the party was successful.

“The party was great and provided a nice break from our day-to-day work routine,” said Van Meeteren.
