MILWAUKEE, Wis. Briggs & Stratton today announced Ann Roche’s acceptance of the new position of vice president Commercial Engines. Briggs & Stratton’s power solutions include high-quality engines led by Vanguard, its premium commercial-grade engine line.
“Ann joined Briggs & Stratton in 1994 as a business development manager in charge of New Ventures, our new business development program,” explained Doug Page, director Commercial Marketing. “Ann understands what it means to be a service-oriented power solutions company. Briggs & Stratton is fortunate to have the benefit of Ann’s outstanding passion for our people, our culture and our customers, as well as her engineering acumen and leadership qualities.”
Prior to joining Briggs & Stratton, Roche held positions at W.H. Brady Co. and Johnson Controls Battery Group, focusing primarily on marketing, new product development and project management. She holds a bachelor of science degreein chemistry and business from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a Master’s of business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
