Briggs & Stratton launches AI Assist tool for dealers

The tool identifies the exact part numbers, maintenance and repair procedures, and safety considerations for a specific model.

Briggs & Stratton launched Briggs & Stratton Assist, an artificial intelligence-powered support tool designed for its dealer network.

Built in-house, the Briggs & Stratton Assist AI tool provides dealers with access to model-specific service and repair information. By delivering answers in seconds, the tool reduces downtime, speeds repairs and helps dealers keep equipment in service.

“Briggs & Stratton Assist is a direct result of listening to our dealers and investing in solutions that make their jobs easier,” says Carissa Gingras, vice president of marketing, Briggs & Stratton. “We built this tool internally to put accurate, trusted information at their fingertips, when and where they need it.”

Briggs & Stratton Assist is trained on internal data to provide professional-grade support. By prioritizing vetted, company-specific information over general internet sources, the tool ensures that responses are accurate and consistent with the latest product specifications. It identifies the exact part numbers, maintenance and repair procedures, and safety considerations for a specific model. Dealers receive information directly from original source documents, eliminating the need to search through lengthy manuals or sift through unrelated results.

Dealers can access Briggs & Stratton Assist today through Briggs & Stratton’s Power Portal at no additional cost. The tool is available in multiple languages to support global service operations. Since its launch, Briggs & Stratton Assist has answered more than 150,000 queries.
