ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Andrew Freeman, IPM Specialist at Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care recently became a certified nursery landscape professional offered through the Cornell Cooperative Extension. He is now qualified to answer questions or concerns on a wide range of subjects, including: plant pests and diseases, weeds and weed control, soils, fertilizer, pruning and much more. This certification recognizes those who have completed the necessary training, education and testing to apply consulting expertise to any landscape design issue.
“We are very proud of Andrew for going through this program to become a certified nursery landscape professional,” says Laurie Broccolo, CEO of Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care. “Andrew is now able to work one on one with clients because he has that knowledge and expertise that will enhance any garden.”
Freeman, who has worked at Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care for three years, now has the ability to estimate material costs for a job, and this allows him to work directly with customers from beginning to end.
