WHEELING, Ill. – Bruce Wilson, a 30-year veteran of the tree and landscape industry, past president of Environmental Care and co-founder and senior partner of the consulting firm the Wilson/Oyler Group, has been appointed to the board of directors for The Care of Trees.
Wilson, who resides in Thousand Oaks, Calif., was president of Environmental Care for 21 years, where he grew the company from $7.9 million to become the first $100 million landscape maintenance company. He was also instrumental in the creation and growth of Green2Go, a business-to-business e-commerce supplier for green industry professionals.
Wilson will replace Larry Hall, who recently announced his retirement from the board after 50 years of industry service.
