The annual All Star Awards program recognizes Richmond-area employers that are committed to their employees and have programs in place to demonstrate that commitment. The Employee Development category specifically recognizes employers who demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and employee development.
“Interior commercial landscape requires skill sets that are very different and often difficult to find in the same person,” says Connie Hom, CEO. “Each employee must maintain a high level of technical competence while providing excellent customer service.”
Buckingham Greenery’s employee development initiatives emphasize ongoing training programs and maintaining up-to-date chemical and pest control certifications. Read more about the company in Interior Landscape Business magazine, which honored Hom with the publication's Professional of the Year award in 2004. Interior Landscape Business is a sister publication to Lawn & Landscape.
Hom was recognized at an awards ceremony with more than 600 Richmond-area human resource and other business professionals.
Buckingham Greenery has offices in Roanoke, Charlottesville, Richmond and Virginia Beach.
