California Landscape Lighting is again hosting its landscape lighting educational classes, The Super Bowl of Lighting, Jan. 27-28. The day-and-a-half seminar, held on-site at the company's corporate offices/warehouse in Westlake Village, Calif., consists of classes and lectures presented by the professionals at California Landscape Lighting as well as invited industry experts.
The Super Bowl of Lighting seminar is regarded for its unbiased agenda. This is a training seminar unaffected by any manufacturers influence or underlying hidden philosophy. There will also be a mini trade show featuring many of the top manufacturers in the industry.
Registration is $90 and can be paid by either check or credit card. For architects and contractors traveling from outside of Southern California, contact the company for the hotel and fly-in instructions. Also, for those flying to the seminar, ground transportation will be arranged to and from Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, Calif.

- Lamp Selection/Application/Photometrics: How to choose and where to use the correct lamps for each application.
- Fixture Selection: How to chose the right fixture for placement and effect.
Engineering: How to design a system for the optimum performance with a special emphasis on multi-voltage transformer installations. - Transformers and Controls: Making the right selection and getting the control you need for a professional lighting system.
- H.I.D. Lighting: How to use Mercury Vapor and Metal Halide lighting in landscape lighting.
- Design and Lighting Plans: How to compose a lighting scene using some common and uncommon lighting techniques and then putting on a plan.
- Specialty Lighting Application: There will be classes on both Fiber Optics and a creative presentation on Outdoor Living Spaces where you will learn to create an outdoor living room.
