Case 590 Super M+ Loader/Backhoe wins Excellence in Equipment Engineering award

The awards are intended to recognize excellence in mobile equipment.

RACINE, Wis. – During the recent BAUMA construction tradeshow in Germany, Diesel Progress magazine honored Case Construction Equipment with an Excellence in Equipment Engineering award in the loader/backhoe category for the 590 Super M+ Series 3 loader/backhoe.

“Case packs more than 50 years of engineering excellence into its backhoe design,” says Rob Marringa, marketing manager, Case Construction Equipment. “Winning the Excellence in Equipment Engineering award for the 590 Super M+ is a testament to the smart engineering in the entire Case M Series 3 loader/backhoe line.”

The Diesel Progress Excellence in Equipment Engineering awards are intended to recognize excellence in mobile equipment engineering in 13 separate categories, covering medium and heavy construction equipment, compact equipment, lift equipment, road-building equipment and agricultural equipment.

The editorial board of Diesel Progress, with input from several industry suppliers, identified three final candidates in each of several machine segments, including the loader/backhoe category. The Case 590 Super M+ was selected as the best loader/backhoe, garnering 47.9 percent of the overall vote in that category by more than 9,000 readers of Diesel Progress, Diesel Progress International and visitors to the Diesel Progress website.

The 590 Super M+ is powered by a turbocharged Case Family IV 445TA/E3 diesel, Tier 3-certified engine that provides maximum fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The machine also features pressure-compensated load-sensing hydraulics to improve fuel efficiency, helping move more yards per gallon of fuel.
