Chalet Names Two New Managers in its Garden Shop

WILMETTE, Ill.  – Chalet announces the addition of Mike Weber as garden shop manager and Gloria Reese as assistant garden shop manager to its retail division at 3132 Lake Ave., Wilmette, Ill. 

Weber has more than 20 years retail experience, most recently as visual merchandising manager for the Container Store in Chicago, Ill. Prior to that, he was store manager for Bed Bath & Beyond and Hobby Lobby, and a district manager for Frank’s Nursery and Crafts – all in the Chicago area. Throughout high school and college, he worked for a nursery and took horticultural management and floral design classes.   

Reese has been serving Chalet customers in the nursery’s annuals section for the past two seasons. She has 25 years experience as an external sales representative of specialty products, a retail consultant and a manager for Marshall Fields.  As a member of Fields’ management team for more than 9 years, she was instrumental in starting the Woodfield store’s Christmas Shop and the West Dundee store’s Gourmet Food Shop.

Weber is a resident of Elmwood Park, Ill., and Reese resides in Arlington Heights, Ill.
