Chesapeake Interiorscape Conference Planned for June 2004

GERMANTOWN, Md. – Several Maryland green industry groups have joined forces to launch a new interior landscape industry conference.

The Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association, University of Maryland Cooperative Extension, Maryland Greenhouse Growers Association and Montgomery College announced the debut of their one-day, hands-on lecture program for the interior landscape industry.

The Chesapeake Interiorscape Conference will be held June 25 at Montgomery College’s Germantown campus.

Featured speakers include Barbara Helfman, Stanton Gill and more. Topics covered include pricing, holiday decorating, interior plant rotations, time management, marketing and biological pest control.

Also, an industry trade show is being organized to coincide with the conference.
