LUBBOCK, Texas – ‘Tis the season to be jolly. With trees to trim, lights to hang and the rest of the decorating, some families choose to take advantage of professional decorating companies to take away some of the holiday stress and keep the season jolly. Holiday decorating franchise Christmas Decor is one such company that eases this holiday stress.
Christmas Decor sells franchises to landscape contractors as a unique means of adding business during their slowest time of the year. FOX News is scheduled to feature the company on its morning show "FOX & Friends" on Friday, Dec. 17.
The FOX feature will demonstrate Christmas Decor’s unique services by showing two working projects. First, the entire decorating process of a family home will be shown in time lapse video.
"The family will be asked to leave the home while we decorate and to return for a grand finale at dark when we will turn all of the lights on," said Blake Smith, president of Christmas Decor. "This will be a ‘gift of lights’ to this family."
The second project is a fully decorated Ronald McDonald house a few blocks away from the first house. The Ronald McDonald house will already be decorated, and the film will show the lighting ceremony. "It will be so enjoyable to have the chance to "shine" a little excitement on these families during a very difficult time in their lives’" said Smith.
Both events were videotaped in Long Island, N.Y., on Wednesday, Dec. 15th.
Christmas Decor representatives, including Smith, are also scheduled to appear live on the show to discuss the company and its new Ronald McDonald House Charity program. "This should be a wonderful, fun and heartfelt event," said Smith.
The "FOX & Friends" episode featuring Christmas Decor will air Friday, Dec 17 at 7 to 9 a.m. eastern/6 to 8 a.m. standard time on cable channel FOX News (FOXN).
