SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — ClearPathGPS has expanded their management team with several
software-industry experts.
Heather
Burleson, a sales leader in the business solutions software space, joins the
company as vice president of sales. Jill Bender, a SaaS marketing strategist,
is the company’s new director of marketing. Kelsey Jones, an operations and
customer-service leader in the mobile-app space, joins as director of customer success.
These management positions—as well as several other recent ClearPathGPS
hires—reflect the company’s increasing customer demand and commitment to
investing in its GPS fleet tracking management
solutions.
Steve Wells, co-founder
and chief revenue officer, explains why ClearPathGPS has been hiring throughout
2020, even during the pandemic:
“The customers in which we serve are mostly essential service providers—plumbers, HVAC,
delivery, roofers, etc. In a struggling economy, these field service businesses
need to operate more efficiently, do more with less, while still focusing on
providing outstanding service. Our GPS tracking solutions provide an affordable
solution to help service businesses get the actionable business intelligence
needed to streamline and improve their operations,” he said.
The COVID
pandemic has created a dilemma for many fleet-driven service businesses. These
companies need to continue fielding emergency calls from customers and
dispatching drivers to jobsites, but they have to do so with their key
employees working from home.
“As a result of this pandemic, we’ve seen a
large percentage of our new customers contact us with the same challenge —
needing to know where their service fleets are at any given time so they can
quickly dispatch the right field tech to the job,” said Chris Fowler, co-founder
and CEO. "With ClearPathGPS fleet tracking
solutions, businesses have been
able to quickly deploy our easy-to-use solutions and get the fleet visibility
they need to solve this problem. Plus, they are benefiting from many other key
features including automated virtual timecards, real-traffic and routing
guidance, virtual geofences to monitor vehicle movements, and more.”
Businesses can
use the company’s tracking solutions without signing a long-term contract. ClearPathGPS terms support the
needs of its customers including a month-to-month plan that allows businesses to cancel
anytime without penalty, and can suspend service if needed.
ClearPathGPS
is continuing to grow its operations, even though they have already expanded its
management team and added personnel to engineering, customer success and
product management this year. The company is actively seeking full-time
employees to join its product and engineering teams.
