Cottier named Focal Pointe’s new director of plant health care.

Daniel Cottier will oversee a full scope plant health program across the firm’s landscape operations in Kansas, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Focal Pointe, a landscape services provider, announced Daniel Cottier has joined its team as director of plant health care (PHC).
In his new role, Cottier will oversee a full scope plant health program across the firm’s landscape operations in Kansas, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma. The multi-season program will expedite the process of plant disease diagnostics and solutions and will focus on health and vitality of plants and trees, the assessment and monitoring of invasive pests and disease, and proactive measures to increase soil and ecosystem health.

Cottier is a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists, the International Society of Arboriculture and the Tree Care Industry Association. He is a Registered Consulting Arborist, a Board-Certified Master Arborist, and a recognized expert in plant and tree health, and environmental risk management. He joins Focal Pointe from Arbor Master in Kansas City, where he served as Director of Arbor Services and PHC Program Manager. 

He reports to Focal Pointe Chief Operating Officer, Brett Gordon.
